It was pretty warm last week in Shanghai.. as in, I could wear a long-sleeved top and pants, and be just fine.
Today, it snowed. Hard!
The weather dropped to -2°C (brrrrrrrr) today and it snowed non-stop. D’you know how RARE that is for Shanghai?! It was sooooo exciting. Especially considering that we don’t get snow in Australia (well, in Sydney anyway), so I was as delighted as a 5 year old kid seeing snow for the first time 😛
Went out with my girl friends for a delish Italian dinner and we were like crazied tourists snapping pics afterwards, heh. It’s all so magical and lovely. Helloooooo winter!

I am from Sweden so i should be used to this but it has been so extremely cold in Shanghai these past few days..Going to Sydney for new years though- looking forward to some Bondi heat

Oh nice, I’d love to go to Sweden one day! Sydney is lovely though – the beaches are just fantastic 🙂 Check out Paddington Markets on Sat too – super fun
I love snow, makes everything look so pretty and magical. When it melts and turn icy it can make the roads slippery though so gotta be careful then.
Yeah, so happy it’s nice and fluffy and dry here (even as it’s disappearing)… the slushy kind is so gross!

Wow that is crazy! I always thought it’s generally pretty warm there! I’m guessing people totally forget how to drive in the snow there and traffic is super chaotic.
yeah traffic is bad when it snows cos none of the cars have tyres equipped for it! It comes to (almost) a standstill and accidents everywhere :X
