TYPING SPEED

I’m bored. Hence did this:

Typing Test

Guess all those years of (almost) daily blogging helped. I knew it would come in useful one day… LOL!

GET WITH THE TIMES

A couple of people have asked how best to keep track of my blog’s updates, now that I’m off LiveJournal.

There are 3 ways:

  1. Bookmark http://beverlys.net/blog (or press CTRL-D on your keyboard to do it)
  2. Copy & paste my RSS feed into your RSS reader
  3. Pop in your email address under the “Subscribe” area to the right to get instant updates
And that’s it. Easy-peasy :)

HUNTER AND HIS TOYS

Sorry.. too busy to update. Too much going out, and also have had a girl friend stay with us. So to pretend I’m still alive and updating, here are 2 videos!

Being amused by his Pacimal, Mr Monkeypants

Sophie the giraffe is rated one of the best chew toys.
I don’t understand why but it’s true, Hunter adores it!

BROTHER MAX 4-IN-1 SIPPY UP

Hunter’s been using a sippy cup now and I think I’ve found an excellent one and wanted to share with you other Mums out there that may be interested. The trick with sippy cup success is that the baby can grip it properly and guide the spout into his/her mouth – a feat easier said than done!

I found the Brother Max 4-in-1 cup and am really impressed. It has a whole bunch of positive reviews online too, and I can see why. It is attractive. It makes Hunter EAGER to reach for it, and he views it as a playtoy as well, which is great as he doesn’t fear or resent it. The handles are thin and perfectly shaped for little fingers, and the angle at which they are at makes it WAY easier for him to guide the spout into his mouth.

It’s non-spill so he has to chew/suck on the teat before liquid comes out, which makes minimal mess for us to clean up. I also really like the angle at which the bottle lies – the liquid pours into the teat so much better (with other cups, the liquid tends to pool in the neck, so the baby has to tilt the cup waaaay up high to get anything out). It’s a nice size, absolutely adorable to look at, and really functional.

I got mine at Robinsons in Singapore (the Raffles City branch), and it’s SGD$19.90 but at 20% off in store at the moment. WIN!

Apparently these wooden-bead toys are great to learn hand-to-eye coordination.
I love this one Mum found ‘cos it’s small and cute!
